Cycling Federation of India (CFI) is a pioneer in the promotion of cycling sports in this country which is recognized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. The National Federation is also affiliated to the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) and International Cycling Union (UCI).
CFI organizes the following National Championships every year:
(a) National Road Cycling Championship
(b) National Track Cycling Championship
(c) National Mountain Bike Championship
Other races registered on the National Calendar:
(a) Mumbai-Pune Cycle Race.
(b) International Cycle Race (ICR) on East Coast Road (ECR) – Chennai
(c) Pune-Baramati Race
